"Tide gauge located in Hampton Harbor, NH. Funded by NERACOOS. Data is
        reported in elevation above MLLW (NAVD88) in feet and also converted to meters. NOAA uses
        Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW), which is the average height of the lowest tide recorded at a
        tide station each day during a 19-year recording period, known as the National Tidal Datum
        Epoch.[5] MLLW is only a mean, so some tidal levels may be negative relative to MLLW; see
        also mean low water spring. The 19-year recording period is the nearest full year count to
        the 18.6-year cycle of the lunar node regression, which has an effect on tides. At this
        location Mean Sea Level (MSL) is 1.308 meters above MLLW Benchmark used: NOAA Station ID:
        8440452 - PLUM ISLAND, MERRIMACK RIVER ENTRANCE (with extrapolated estimate) MSL meters =
        (MLLW ft. * 0.3048) + GAUGE location correction.";

Using tabledap to Request Data and Graphs from Tabular Datasets

tabledap lets you request a data subset, a graph, or a map from a tabular dataset (for example, buoy data), via a specially formed URL. tabledap uses the OPeNDAP (external link) Data Access Protocol (DAP) (external link) and its selection constraints (external link).

The URL specifies what you want: the dataset, a description of the graph or the subset of the data, and the file type for the response.

Tabledap request URLs must be in the form
https://coastwatch.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/tabledap/datasetID.fileType{?query}
For example,
https://coastwatch.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/tabledap/pmelTaoDySst.htmlTable?longitude,latitude,time,station,wmo_platform_code,T_25&time>=2015-05-23T12:00:00Z&time<=2015-05-31T12:00:00Z
Thus, the query is often a comma-separated list of desired variable names, followed by a collection of constraints (e.g., variable<value), each preceded by '&' (which is interpreted as "AND").

For details, see the tabledap Documentation.
